We are pleased to announce the opening of “Los alambristas,” an exhibition by Gilda Mantilla and Raimond Chaves at ICPNACultural Miraflores.

The show offers a non-chronological journey through 24 years of their collaborative practice, which developed alongside the globalizing forces that shaped contemporary art. The materiality—or immateriality—of the works encourages reflection on the nature of images, questions the logics of the local art system, and engages with the processes of abstraction that shape today’s world. This is their first joint exhibition in Lima in six years.
