Sandra Gamarra Heshiki

Sandra Gamarra Heshiki (Lima, 1972) lives between Madrid and Lima. She holds a BFA at the Universidad Católica del Perú in Lima and has a PhD at the Academia de Arte de Cuenca in Spain.

Sandra’s solo shows include: “Pinacoteca Migrante”, National Library of Spain in Madrid; “Pinacoteca Migrante”, Spanish Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale, Venice, Italy. “El mundo al revés” 80m2 Livia Benavides gallery, Lima; Museo Amparo, Puebla; Centro Gallego de Arte Contemporáneo (CGAC), Santiago de Compostela; Sala Alcalá 31, Madrid; Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI), Lima; Fundación Rac, Pontevedra; Bass Museum, Miami; Casa de América, Madrid; among many others.
