David Zink Yi
There is an invisible thread that runs through David Zink Yi’s works, performances, and installations: his interest in the processes, origins, and organic connections of things, often imbued with a sensual and intuitive dimension. Born in Lima, Peru, in 1973, he lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He studied at Kunstakademie Munich and Universität der Künste Berlin, and his practice spans sculpture, performance, video, and installation, exploring the interplay between natural processes, material transformation, and the human body.
