“A World Far Away, Nearby and Invisible” unfolds at El Espacio 23 in Miami, bringing together artworks by Sandra Gamarra, Andrés Pereira Paz, Elena Damiani, and Gilda Mantilla from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection.

The exhibition presents a selection of works that explore and reimagine the multifaceted idea of territory—its symbolic, affective, and mythic dimensions, as well as its political and transformative resonance. Through four thematic chapters, the show examines territory as both lived experience and cultural construct, shaped by magic, community, and ancestral knowledge.
