Elena Damiani joins the gallery program

We are pleased to welcome Elena Damiani to the gallery program. Born in Lima in 1979, where she lives and works, Damiani has participated in major international biennials and triennials, including the Aichi Triennial (2025), Seoul Mediacity Biennial (2023), Cuenca Biennial (2016, 2018), Gwangju Biennial (2016), Venice Biennale, Vienna Biennale, and IV Poly/Graphic San Juan Triennial (all 2015), as well as the Bienal de la Imagen y Movimiento, Buenos Aires (2014), and Mercosul Biennial (2013). In April 2026, she will inaugurate a public art commission in Stockholm for Stena Fastigheter and Haninge Municipality.
Her recent solo exhibitions include Galerie Nordenhake, Stockholm (2025), Americas Society, New York (permanent installation), and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Lima (both 2022). Her work has also been featured in group exhibitions at MoMA, New York; Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, Mexico; Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca, Mexico; Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne (all 2023); Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna, Rome; Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow (2015); and Museo Tamayo, Mexico City (2013), among others.
Damiani’s work is held in major public collections, including MoMA, New York; Museo de Arte de Lima; Perez Art Museum, Miami; Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Collection; and Kadist Art Foundation. We are honored to incorporate her work into our representation.
