“Signal and Strata”, opening on February 5, 2026, at the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, brings together Elena Damiani, Ximena Garrido-Lecca, and Ishmael Randall-Weeks for their first U.S. institutional presentation in direct dialogue.

The exhibition explores cycles of production and decay, as each artist questions narratives of progress, urbanization, and global supply chains. Their works examine how the extraction of minerals, images, data, and histories shapes both the physical and psychic landscapes of the Andean region.
