26.01.2026
We are pleased to announce the acquisition of an artwork by Ximena Garrido-Lecca as part of the Guggenheim New York 2025 acquisitions.
This year, the museum incorporated 39 artworks by 31 artists, spanning from 1963 to the present, reflecting its ongoing commitment to expanding the collection through diverse, innovative, and historically underrepresented practices across regions, movements, and media.
The 2025 acquisitions place particular emphasis on works by women-identifying and Latinx-identifying artists, contributing to a broader and more inclusive understanding of modern and contemporary art within the Guggenheim’s global collection.
