14.02.2026
Ximena Garrido-Lecca presents “Seedings” at the Wex Center for the Arts, an installation bringing together seeds, plants, and materials from the Andean region to explore pre-Hispanic knowledge systems of Andean and Mesoamerican cultures.
Centering seeds as emblems of life, fertility, and sustenance, the work connects ancestral agricultural practices with contemporary approaches to preservation and exchange. The installation invites reflection on seed conservation, climate change, and regenerative strategies grounded in environmental awareness.
Seedings will remain on view through May 24, 2026.
