We are pleased to announce the participation of Sandra Gamarra Heshiki in the main exhibition of the 2026 Yucatán Biennial, “Vocal,” on view from November 26, 2026, through February 28, 2027, at the Casa de la Cultura del Mayab.

Curated by Abraham Cruzvillegas, “Vocal” brings together artists whose practices engage with language; how we speak, listen, translate, name, and inhabit the world through different territories, bodies, and memories. The exhibition inaugurates Mexico’s first large-scale international biennial.
