His current solo exhibition, “Arquitecturas del Poder”, is on view at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá (MAMBO), Colombia. Hamilton’s work is held in public and private collections including Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (CA2M), Madrid; Centro Gallego de Arte Contemporáneo (CGAC), Santiago de Compostela; Colección Jumex, Mexico City; and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Santiago de Chile; among others.

He was artist-in-residence at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP), New York (2006); and is a recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship, John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, New York (2007).
