Daniel De La Barra is awarded residencies at Matadero Madrid and Cité Internationale des Arts

At Matadero Madrid, De La Barra will develop West Indian Atlas, a project that juxtaposes colonial and contemporary maps to reveal the continuity between the imperial gaze and the current ecological crisis.

He has also been selected by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation and the Cité Internationale des Arts for the IN SITU program in Paris, which brings together leading international creators to explore the ecological conditions of existence.
