Elena Damiani’s public artwork “Astrolabe” is on view at Bryggan Square in Vega, Haninge. Commissioned by Stena Fastigheter, the work was formally handed over to Haninge Municipality during its inauguration.

Drawing inspiration from instruments used in navigation, surveying, and astronomy, “Astrolabe” assembles a series of forms across Bryggan Square to create an open constellation. A geometric diagram on the ground connects these elements into a system structured by distance, orientation, and observation.

Visitors are invited to walk through the square and actively participate in this network of relationships, becoming part of the installation.
